Home Office / SOCA.

An award-winning approach to reducing victims of serious crime.

Serious and Organised Crime (SOC) costs the economy more than £24bn a year, threatening the UK’s security and causing immense harm to people.  Working with the Home Office, we created a segmentation of the UK population which could be used to reduce the susceptibility of people becoming victims of SOC. The work has helped the Home Office and the Police better target and communicate with vulnerable people, on a one-to-one basis through to national campaigns, and won the 2016 MRS Applications of Research award.
